The Festival of Physics is a joint venture between The Ohio State University and the Columbus science museum (COSI) whose aim is to expose the public to the ideas that drive discoveries and innovation in science. The theme of the first festival in 2007 was “Emergence” with a focus on superconductivity and magnetism. The second one in 2011 “My Quantum Mom” celebrated the magic and mysteries of quantum mechanics.
